Day 17: Angels | InkTober

Today I pulled Within Temptation’s Angels as a prompt.

I love Within Temptation. In fact, I plotted my first novel to the rise and fall of their songs (a novel I still have to re-write). I wanted to do something more intricate inspired by Luis Royo because, yay, weekend, but in the end stuck with fineliner and my trusty aquarelle and ended up with something cartoony.

What’s different about this picture is it came from my head, no references. So I’m quite happy with how it came out, even if it is cartoonish.
