Day 18: White Bird | InkTober

The KT Tunstall song lyrics go: “White bird with a black tail. Half dark, and a face so pale.” As you can see, I was super creative with this one.

I used a stock photo as reference, a BiC Fine ballpoint and a fineliner. I like how it came out, but I do feel a bit like I’m cheating. The BiC fine operates in much the same way as a pencil. I’m not really practicing pen shading and this little pic had minimal line weight fluctuations. Still, I think it’s cute 🙂
