Day 4: Morning of the Dragon | Inktober

I chose to draw a Vietnamese dragon because this song is from the musical Miss Saigon.

Perhaps appropriately, I did spend the whole morning on this dragon. Mostly because I tried to draw him twice. The first time I did shading and all the detail was lost, so I scrapped that picture and did one focusing on line weight instead. He’s deceptively simple and not nearly as neat as I’d like, which makes this feel like a waste of a really nice prompt. Oh well!
